I offer fresh and compassionate possibilities to approach the self, while also challenging old patterns of thought, feelings and behavior. I integrate many different modalities and trainings in order to approach and support wholeness. My approach is eclectic, psychodynamic, humanistic, present-moment oriented, body-centered, and influenced by years of meditation and mindfulness practices. Ultimately, my goal is to invite people connect to their humanity, which welcomes all parts of the self.

Is therapy right for me?

If you feel that…

An old version of you is making decisions in your life

Past behaviors, beliefs and feelings keep you feeling stuck

You feel unfulfilled and disconnected in personal and professional relationships

Therapy can help you move forward.

together we can…

Create a greater capacity to be with discomfort and feeling empowered to face life’s challenges

Discover how to feel more at ease with your whole self

Cultivate a compassionate and fulfilling relationship with yourself and others

Offer new ways of relating to yourself and others, with new possibilities of shifting old patterns

Could we be a good fit?

You and I may be a good fit if you are looking for a deeper level of healing. When I use the word “deeper”, I mean depth of healing that touches on different aspects of the self and weaves through them a sense of well-being, integration and wholeness. Healing involves connecting with the body, the sense of self, the quality of our relationships with others, and the values that give our lives meaning. If creating a greater sense of inner and outer wholeness appeals to you, then we may be a good team!

Curiosity and commitment are values I hold to in treatment.  It takes a great deal of commitment to the process of healing, which is often painful, confusing and frustrating.  Working through the struggle together is part of the healing process, and it requires a willingness to commit to the process even when it is difficult.  Clients who are a good fit are often people who have already engaged in a process of self-reflection, either through previous therapy or through practices that required an investment in personal growth and change.

Since the process of change can be challenging, I also value finding joy along the way, as well as creative approaches to being with ourselves.  Many clients that have worked well with me enjoy creativity, are passionate about learning and have a good sense of humor.
