About Me

My wide range of interests reflect my professional and lived experiences; these include formal and informal studies in biology, neuroscience, the natural world, visual art, meditation, music, dance, attachment theory, film, indoor gardening, baking, and many things creative and expressive.  I am a life-long student with a passion for staying curious.

Accompanying my passion for learning is an equal desire to connect with people and their rich life stories.  People have an innate capacity to heal, and their own journey is as sacred and important as any knowledge base that exists.  Honoring our journeys, struggles, joys, sorrows, dreams and pain allows for change to occur from a compassionate and open place.

I am fluent in Spanish and have a working capacity in French.  I welcome work with adults of all sexual orientations, gender identities, ethnic, religious, immigrant, and socio-economic backgrounds.  My pronouns are she/her.

My Therapeutic Stance

I have been working as a psychotherapist for over 20 years. My practice has spanned a wide variety of ages, settings, demographics and services, though my focus has remained the same: finding the catalyst for change and a movement towards healing and integration. I rely on containment, providing a safe space, and remaining present and fluid.
